Guru Grace Gratitude..

Jai Gurudev!

Ever since I finished teaching my first course, I've been thinking a lot about Guru Grace..
This is what I have been thinking from last few weeks..

Since last 4-5 years, I've been telling all the volunteers about Guru Grace..
Often I share my experience, make them share theirs..
Rishi Vidyadharji once told me that when you share your Guru Grace experience, your consciousness gets uplifted..

But how exactly does Guru Grace flow?
People say, "Sadhana, Seva and Satsang is only what you need to do for the Grace to flow"
Seva, sadhana and satsang makes you illegible..

Many of them say, "the more efforts you put, the more Grace flows.."
Then some say, effort is not the only thing required for the Grace to flow..

Sometimes you put a lot of efforts but nothing happens..
Sometimes you don't put as much efforts but things fall in places at the right time..

I as a 'human being' am not qualified to analyze the phenomenon of Guru Grace, but I just wanted to share my experience so that the 'consciousness gets uplifted' :p

Many a times when I am done putting efforts and at the last moment when I surrender everything to Guruji, the invisible energy starts to flow and even before I know, things are done.
But, surrender without efforts is of no use.
Also surrender and efforts are of no use without Knowledge..

Guruji once said, "In Spirituality Faith comes first and knowledge follows.."

So basically all these surrender, efforts and knowledge come only when there is Faith..
So after analyzing all this stuff, I thought I know the secret and I started my seva for next course but again...all the technology behind Grace did not help...

Then I remembered one of my teachers telling his experience..
Guruji once said, "You need Yukti and Shakti (skills and power) to make things happen"
And my teacher thought 'What if I don't have both?'
and the very next moment Guruji looked at him and said, "Doesn't matter if you don't have both.. Yukti nahi hai to koi baat nahi BHAKTI se kaam chal jayega.."

As soon as I remembered this, things again started to fall in place, I was out of all the thinking mess in no time.. and I am grateful to Guruji for making me go through all this thinking process.. :)

Jai Gurudev!

PS: i would really like your feedback and feel free to share your experience..

Mahashivratri Celebrations 2012

Hello everyone.. J

I had the most wonderful experience of my life: The Maha-Shivratri celebration at The Art Of Living Bangalore Ashram.

The Guru Grace effect started in the first week of February.

First of all, I couldn't register for Mahashivratri AMC as it got full.
So I had to cancel my railway reservations n I almost convinced myself that I won't be able to attend the Mahashivratri celebration this year.

Meanwhile, my personal life was going nowhere. Got out of a very painful relationship and then I got stuck in family responsibilities.
Also did some little amount of seva in the mean time.
Basically, life was going nowhere and mind was occupied with complicated thoughts and mixed emotions.

Then...One fine day, my friends Alok n Akanksha asked me to come with them to the ashram for Mahashivratri.
but, there was only one problem...there was no plan..!!!
only option was to take The Bus and travel 22 hours from aurangabad to pune to bangalore..
only accommodation available was dormitory..

Thursday I decided to go!
Friday I packed my bags!
Saturday we were in Pune!
Sunday BANGALORE ASHRAM!!!

Ashram was looking very different this time. It felt so energetic...more than ever...
Thousands of people were walking around, helping the new arrived people.
The Sunday Kannada Satsang was blissful but we hardly could find a place to sit comfortably in Yagnashala.
Afterwards, the ashram started to get ready to witness the big event.

On the other side, I got the noisiest dormitory ever with around 200 people to share it with.
There wasn't any bathroom, there was a bath place with no walls.. ;)
It was once in a lifetime experience...believe me!!

Anyways..on Monday..We got up early at 3.30AM, took a refreshing cold water bath and headed towards ashram.

The Huge Monday started with Rudrapuja with Guruji..

as everyone else was fasting I also decided to fast, so had one banana and milk for breakfast.
did some campus seva and then went on to attend the final session of the AMC with Rishi Nityapragyaji.
after lunch, the day started to feel very dull and lengthy because of the hectic journey and ofcourse NO SLEEP!
we somehow managed to stay awake..

The Yagnashala, where the Mahakriya and Maha Rudrabhishek was going to take place opened at 3 o'clock.
We took Sankalpa for the Rudrabhishek and luckily got to sit in the front row adjacent to the stage.

Guruji entered the Yagnashala and suddenly there was a blissful silence. Then HE conducted The Maha Sudarshan Kriya.

Believe me, being there and doing the Maha Kriya with Guruji is the most wonderful thing in the world.

after the Maha Kriya, Guruji left the hall and came back around 7.30pm for the Maha Rudrabhishek.

When Guruji came back, he was in Silence and the musicians started to make huge loud Naada as he walked in..
3 hours since then was the best experience of my life ever!!!
There are no adjectives in any language to explain the experience of the Maha Rudrabhishek!

All the angels in the creation arrived there, thousands of people were blessed.
Everyone went deep into meditation as the Veda boys chanted the rudrapuja.

Guruji was sitting right there in front of me, 15 metres from me.

all the suffering, all the difficulties n all the pain Paid off!!
as we say in Hindi.. Zindagi Vasool Ho Gayi..!!

every person who witnessed that event is fortunate.
Shiva visited all of us on the occasion of Maha Shivratri..
The whole environment was so energetic that everyone sat in one place for 8 hours and still managed to dance and celebrate..
The celebration is still going on...n will continue forever...

I always gave priority to little things in life, but never offered time for the Divine..
But now I realized that The Divine always gives you priority if you have faith in it..

now, I can surely say these lines especially after experiencing the Mahashivratri 2012..

"YES! I have seen GOD..

 He smiles like a child..

 He supports like a father..

 He travels around the universe..

He is always there for you..

He says So-Ham and every problem disappears..

He meets everyone at the 21st KM..

 He dwells in our Heart..

 Yes..its HIM..."
